A lead consultant, Dodds Brown has been appointed to take forward plans for a snow centre in Middlesbrough. If planning permission goes through, construction work is expected to commence in 2019. The development could create up to 350 jobs (Bdaily). 

Yet another high street retailer struggling, Carpetright has reported a full year loss and falling sales. The retailer announced earlier in the year it would be closing 81 stores as part of a rescue plan (BBC).

Middlesbrough Jobs Fair
The Middlesbrough jobs fair is being held on the 4th of July at the Jury's Inn between 10am and 2pm. The fair is free to attaend and no pre-registration is required.
